In the rest of the NFL, New England beat the New York Jets 26-19, New Orleans defeated the New York Giants 34-27, and Pittsburgh beat Tampa Bay 26-19 in overtime. Houston edged Jacksonville 34-31 in the NFL London Games.
In the NHL, Minnesota beat Columbus 2-1, while Calgary defeated Carolina 3-2. Calgary's win ended Carolina's seven-game winning streak.
