Hershey expands Halloween lineup with popcorn, pretzels and cheese puffs
Hershey is adding savory snacks to its Halloween offerings as health-conscious eating trends grow, while the company says chocolate sales remain strong.

The Hershey Company is expanding its Halloween lineup beyond traditional candy to include popcorn, cheese puffs and pretzels. The offerings include SkinnyPop, Pirate’s Booty and Lesser Evil products.
The shift comes as some consumers focus more on health-conscious eating and as GLP-1 weight-loss drugs grow in popularity. Hershey says chocolate remains the leading Halloween choice, with early-season sales of snack-size chocolate and candy up by double digits from the previous year.
Hershey also said sales in its Zero Sugar candy, mint and gum business increased about 4.3 times between 2020 and 2025. Americans spent $7.4 billion on Halloween treats in 2024, according to the National Confectioners Association.
