The Massena Town Board received three letters during a public hearing on a proposed six-month moratorium on data center development, including support for a large-scale project at the former Alcoa East site.
Donald R. Meissner, the town’s sports-fishing promotion director, and grant writer Linda McQuinn supported allowing the North Country Colocation Services project to proceed. Arconic officials supported the proposed moratorium and said they could provide information for the town’s review.
