Hamilton Street Park in Ogdensburg is set to receive nearly $800,000 in state funding toward a $1 million improvement project, city officials said.
Plans call for updated surfaces, new playground equipment and courts that can be used for pickleball and basketball. The project will also undergo engineering and an environmental review, while questions about possible graves from a former church cemetery will be considered before work begins. City officials said the project could start in the spring if the timetable remains on track.
